Niagara on the Lake and the surrounding region offer a veritable
cornucopia of things to do…
The Niagara River Recreation Trail, just a short walk from Harbour
House, is one of the most attractive off-road recreation trails
in Canada. Hugging the winding shore of the Niagara River, the Trail
is perfect for cycling and walking. And when you have taxed the body,
rejuvenate in your room's whirlpool and luxurious bedding!
The Shaw Festival, a renowned repertory theatre, presents plays
created by George Bernard Shaw and his contemporaries, in three
wonderful theatres-all within walking distance of Harbour House.
Steps away from Harbour House is Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours. Take a breathtaking ride up the Niagara River into the stonewalled canyon that is the Niagara Gorge. The ultimate destination is the Devil's Hole Rapids and the legendary Whirlpool. This is one of the most amazing rides you will ever experience. As seen on the Amazing Race
Wander down Queen Street and you will be tempted by dozens of shops-a
unique treasure trove of original gift buying.
Now considered amongst the top wine producing regions in North America, the Niagara Region boasts over 40 world-class wineries, beckoning to you to visit for touring and tasting.
